Upon arrival, travel by road to Chebera Churchura National Park, one of Ethiopia’s most pristine and least-explored wildlife sanctuaries. The park is characterized by its diverse landscapes, including rolling hills, rivers, streams, crater lakes, and lush vegetation, which provide an ideal habitat for a wide range of wildlife.

Fly to Lalibela in the morning. Upon arrival, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel for a short rest. Begin your exploration with the Northern Cluster of Lalibela’s Rock-Hewn Churches, masterpieces of 12th-century Ethiopian architecture and UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Return to your hotel in the evening.

- Biete Medhane Alem: The largest monolithic church in the world, home to the famous Lalibela Cross.
- Biete Maryam: The oldest church, adorned with beautiful frescoes.
- Biete Golgotha & Selassie: Known for their sacred importance and religious artwork.
- Biete Debre Sina & Biete Mikael: Twin churches with intricate architectural details.
- Biete Giyorgis: The most iconic church, carved in the shape of a cross.
Overnight: Lalibela Hiltop Lodge
After breakfast, visit the Southern Cluster of Lalibela Churches, which are equally impressive in design and historical significance.

- Biete Amanuel: Believed to have been a royal chapel.
- Biete Abba Libanos: A church partially detached from the rock.
- Biete Gabriel-Rufael: Possibly a former royal palace.
Later, take an excursion to Yemrehanna Kristos Monastery, an 11th-century church built inside a cave just outside Lalibela. Constructed of stone and wood, this monastery is one of Ethiopia’s hidden historical treasures. In the afternoon, enjoy free time to explore local markets and traditional handicrafts.
