From USD 3,575 per person
We will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to Tulia Spa & Boutique. A city sightseeing tour comes as part of the excursion for day 1. The city excursion will involve visiting the local markets, the Maasai market, the Cultural Heritage Museum, and the Arusha City Museum.
The drive from Arusha to Tarangire takes about 2 hours. After we arrive in Tarangire, we will do a full-day game drive to the best spots to see lions, cheetahs, and leopards. There will be plenty to see, including the classic herbivores (elephants, wildebeests, buffalos, deers, and gazelles). Later, you will continue with the game drive until late evening. When the other people exit the park, we enjoy a less crowded and more active scene in Tarangire. Later, we will have dinner and overnight at Ang’Ata Tarangire Camp.
We will start early in the morning at 6:00 am with our game drive in Tarangire. We’ll continue until late morning and then check out of Tarangire when there are more cars and the sun is hot. We will proceed to the Farm of Dreams Lodge and have lunch and time to relax. Later, we go out for a cultural trip in Mto wa Mbu where we visit farms and waterfalls and do biking. We return to the lodge for refreshing and dinner, but our day is not yet over! From 8:00 pm, we will head to Lake Manyara National Park to enjoy a night game drive where we will see nocturnal animals. The less crowded and silent wilderness adds a different dimension to your safari. Later, we return to the accommodation for our overnight stay.
After breakfast, we will drive to Serengeti, which takes about 5 hours (including all stops) as it transits through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where we will stop for 20 minutes. There is an optional visit to a Maasai village where you can explore the culture of the great Maasai tribe. They are known for chasing lions off their kills, as well as hunting lions. To be considered a warrior, they had to drink animal blood (this tradition is a thing of the past). This optional visit will take 20 to 45 minutes. We arrive at Serengeti National Park in the late afternoon. After lunch, we go on a game drive in the Seronera area (Central Serengeti), then head west. We arrive at our accommodation where we can experience the Serengeti sunset.
After breakfast, we will go on a full-day game drive for your second day in the Serengeti. Today, we will explore areas further away on a walking safari, with a high chance of seeing animals. Later in the afternoon, we return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
After an early breakfast, we will go on an game drive and spot plenty of wildlife. In the afternoon, we will head to the camp for lunch. After packing, we do a game drive while we exit the Serengeti. We head to the Ngorongoro (a 2-hour drive) on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater.
After an early breakfast, we will descend the crater at 6:15 am on a journey to find the black rhino. Rhinos are the hardest to spot in the beautiful crater; most animals are easier to spot on the flat crater floor. After lunch, you will do a game drive and ascend the crater to camp and pack for the trip back to Arusha town.
Immerse yourself in Tanzania’s great outdoors on this full-day tour to Materuni and Kikuletwa. It is ideal for adventurous, cultural, and active travelers in the region. Start off on a hike to Materuni Waterfalls and enjoy a refreshing dip. Next, head to a local farm to learn more about Tanzania’s coffee industry before finally unwinding in the Kikuletwa Hot Springs. You will be dropped off at the airport in the evening.
