Day by Day Overview
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, our team will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you’ll have the option to embark on a guided city tour, where you can explore highlights such as the Cultural Heritage art gallery, vibrant local markets, and the Maasai Market, perfect for picking up unique souvenirs.

After a delicious breakfast, your safari adventure begins with a scenic 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. As you enter the park, you’ll be captivated by the sight of massive elephant herds and the iconic ancient Baobab trees, while the Tarangire River attracts a wealth of wildlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch with a breathtaking view, before continuing your game drive to discover more of the park’s rich biodiversity. In the evening, you’ll travel to Karatu for a delightful dinner and an overnight stay at the charming Eileen’s Tree Inn, where you can relax and unwind after an exciting day of exploration.

After breakfast, we will begin our journey to Serengeti National Park. Prepare for a scenic, yet bumpy drive of approximately 4 to 5 hours, as we ascend the Crater Highlands and head toward the vast, iconic plains of Serengeti. Along the way, you’ll enjoy fascinating game viewing. We’ll stop for a picnic lunch at the Naabi Hill Gate within Serengeti, before entering the park for an afternoon game drive. As the day draws to a close, we’ll take in the breathtaking sunset before heading to the Serengeti Serena Luxury Lodge for a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay.
Optional Activity: You may choose to visit the Maasai villages in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area along the way. Please note that this experience can feel somewhat commercialized for some travelers.

Today, you’ll rise early for a captivating sunrise game drive. Witnessing the African savanna bathed in the golden light of dawn is a truly unforgettable experience, and it’s also the best time to observe wildlife, as animals are most active in the morning. You’ll continue your game drive until lunchtime, soaking in the sights and sounds of the Serengeti. Afterward, we’ll exit the park and drive to Ngorongoro Ang’ata Camp, where you can enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night surrounded by nature’s tranquility.

Today, we’ll start our day early, departing at 6:00 a.m. in our safari vehicle, heading down into the Ngorongoro Crater with a packed breakfast and lunch. This extraordinary destination is home to nearly every species of wildlife native to East Africa, including the rare black rhino—if we’re fortunate, we may even catch a glimpse of one. Covering an area of 260 square kilometers and measuring about 20 kilometers in diameter, we’ll spend approximately 5 to 6 hours exploring the crater’s diverse ecosystems. Afterward, we’ll drive back to your hotel in Arusha, filled with unforgettable memories from an amazing day of wildlife viewing.
