Day by Day Overview

After all time planning your safari, it commences in Arusha National Park. The park is small but varied with spectacular landscapes in three distinct areas. In the west, the Meru Crater funnels the Jekukumia River; the peak of Mount Meru lies on its rim. Ngurdoto Crater in the south-east is grassland while the shallow alkaline Momella Lakes in the north-east have varying algal colors and are known for their wading birds. Arusha National Park has a rich variety of wildlife, but visitors shouldn’t expect the same game-viewing experience they find in other national parks of Tanzania’s northern circuit. Despite the small size of the park, common animals include giraffe, cape buffalo, zebra, warthog, the black and white colobus monkey as well as birdlife in the forest which is prolific, with many forest species more easily seen here than elsewhere on the tourist route. Enjoy your lunch at noon then later on drive back to the hotel for overnight budget.

Enjoy lunch then later on proceed to the hotel for accommodation, shower, dinner and overnight budget.

It is also an endemic bird area, with a total of 505 species being documented so far. In the evening, we will arrive to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Today early in the morning, we depart the lodge and drive down to the crater floor for wildlife game viewing. With its abundant water, excellent grazing and natural protection from the densely vegetated crater walls, the crater provides shelter to over 25,000 animals, including the endangered black rhinoceros. Lunch will be taken in a picnic site inside the crater. After lunch experience more in the Ngorongoro Crater then later on drive back to your lodge.

Lake Manyara National Park, back dropped by the spectacular, rust-hued Great Rift Valley. Lake Manyara has various animals such as; elephants, giraffes; zebras, wildebeest, impala, waterbuck, and warthog, small known shy Kik’s dik dik as well as klipspringer along the ramps of the escarpment. Leopards are hosted within the broken forests and escarpment and healthy lions here are widely known for their tree climbing ranks. This used to be a special character of the park which is not the case today. Regarded as Africa’s largest, huge herds of baboons are expected by most of the travelers. Later in the day drive back for to Arusha for departure.
