Day by Day Overview
Drive from Dar-es-Salaam to Mikumi National Park (approx. 6 hours) with a picnic lunch. On your arrival go for a Maasai Boma visit at one of the local villages until sunset. The boma located in the Mikumi village will welcome you and one of the Maasai guides will explain the past and present lifestyle of the Maasai in Tanzania.
Dinner and overnight at Camp Bastian (Meal Plan: FB)
Have breakfast then depart for Mikumi National Park. You will enjoy a full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park where you will get the chance to see elephants, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, impalas, warthogs, hippos, crocodiles, lions, and diverse species of birds.
Dinner and overnight at Camp Bastian (Meal Plan: FB)
After breakfast enjoy a half-day game drive until the afternoon when you will stop for lunch. Afterwards enjoy a further game drive en-route to Selous Game Reserve.

Spend half the day on a game drive exploring Selous Game Reserve. In the afternoon enjoy a boat safari on the Rufiji River.

After breakfast you head off on a full-day game drive with packed lunch boxes, which you enjoy at a picnic site the guide will select for you. After your picnic lunch and some relaxation before continuing with a game drive until the evening.

Start the day with a morning walking safari, which takes around two and half hours. Then you return back to your lodge for breakfast. After breakfast drive back to Dar es Salaam with packed lunch boxes. On arrival in Dar es Salaam you are dropped and the airport for your flight back home or at a hotel or at the port for the ferry to Zanzibar or Mafia Island.
