Day by Day Overview
This safari can depart from the airport or from your Nairobi hotel. Drive through the Nairobi-Mombasa highway as you proceed to Amboseli National Park, at the foot of the snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. Lunch at the camp then enjoy an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Kimana Amboseli tented camp.

A full day in this photogenic park. Have a full-day game drive with packed picnic lunch at the park. Amboseli National Park is one of the most popular wildlife sanctuaries in Kenya, close to the Kenya-Tanzania border. The park lies at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa (5,896m) whose snow-capped summit presents a splendid view on clear days. Amboseli National Park is often referred to as “The home of elephants’ – some of the largest elephant herds are found here. Later in the evening return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Check out of the camp and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. Have an en-route lunch and proceed to Nakuru. A brief stopover at the Great Rift Valley which is 8000 ft above sea level. Continue with the journey to Lake Nakuru National Park to arrive in good time for an evening game viewing in this park until 18:30 hrs when the park closes. Return to the resort for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast check out of the resort with packed lunch boxes. Drive through the scenic floor of the Great Rift Valley to Masai Mara. Arrive at Mara and start your game drive. Masai Mara is Kenya’s most popular nature reserve and is renowned for its impressive number of big cats, most notably lions, though you may spot the odd cheetah as well. The Serengeti plains, irrigated by the River Mara, make up much of the park and sustain huge populations of migratory animals, including wildebeest, giraffes, and zebras. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.

Full day spent exploring Masai Mara in search of the Big 5 and other wildlife, with a packed lunch. An optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 480 per person. The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. A picnic lunch will be served at the Mara River, the border between Kenya and Tanzania. Your driver-guide will be in constant radio communication to locate where the animals are. In the evening return to the camp to freshen up. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
