Day by Day Overview
Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up from bustling Arusha, a gateway to Tanzania’s renowned northern safari circuit. Travel to Tarangire National Park, home to the largest elephant population in Tanzania. As you embark on a full-day game drive, marvel at the park’s ancient baobab trees and its vibrant ecosystem, which attracts a variety of wildlife including giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, and lions. Keep your camera ready for encounters with leopards lounging in tree branches or migratory birds, including strikingly colorful lovebirds. In the evening, unwind and enjoy a serene overnight stay at Rim View Inn in the lush town of Karatu.

After breakfast, set off towards the world-famous Central Serengeti, driving through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands, known for their rolling hills, farmlands, and cooler climate. En route, stop at a traditional Maasai village for an authentic cultural experience. Witness the Maasai’s vibrant dances, hear stories of their heritage, and learn about their nomadic way of life, which has remained unchanged for centuries. Arrive in the Serengeti by afternoon, where the endless plains stretch to the horizon, teeming with iconic wildlife like lions, cheetahs, and gazelles.
Settle in for the night at Harmony Safari Camp, a comfortable tented camp offering spectacular views of the savannah.

Spend the entire day immersed in the wonders of the Serengeti National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa. Depending on the season, witness the awe-inspiring Great Migration, as millions of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes traverse the plains in search of greener pastures. Return to Harmony Safari Camp for a relaxing evening under the starlit African sky.

Wake up early for breakfast before embarking on a thrilling drive to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as Africa’s Eden. Descend into the crater, a natural caldera formed millions of years ago, and enjoy a game drive through its diverse habitats. From grassy plains to freshwater lakes and acacia woodlands, the crater is home to an incredible array of wildlife, including the rare black rhino, large prides of lions, herds of buffalo, and flocks of pink flamingos. In the late afternoon, ascend the crater rim and return to Karatu for another cozy night at Rim View Inn.

The lake’s shores are dotted with flocks of flamingos, creating a picturesque scene perfect for photos. In the afternoon, bid farewell to Tanzania’s wilderness as you return to Arusha, where your safari concludes with a drop-off at your preferred location or the airport.
