After an early breakfast, depart towards the most famous national park in the world, Serengeti National Park. You will drive up the crater highlands, making a quick stop at the rim for an out of this world view of Ngorongoro Crater. On arrival in Serengeti National Park, you will see why the name means ‘endless plains’ in the local language. The park is 6,900 sq.mile (18,000 sq. km) and is home of the Great Migration with 2 million wildebeests and hundreds of thousands of zebras. As for big cats it’s the place of choice to look out for lions.

Today you will wake up very early to do an early morning safari before breakfast, to spot the animals when they are more active. After the game drive head to Ngorongoro Crater and descend 600m into this magnificent crater for a game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino.

After your overnight , you will head straight to the conservation area for a game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater. This is the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. The crater, which formed when a large volcano exploded and collapsed on itself two to three million years ago, is 610 metres deep and its floor covers 260 square kilometres. The crater is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa, and is home to a wide range of animals and birds. Afterwards return to Arusha.
