Day by Day Overview
Arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to Serengeti National Park. Enjoy a scenic drive through the park and prepare for your first game drive. Serengeti’s vast savannah is home to hundreds of species, and you may spot giraffes, zebras, elephants, and even lions as you journey deeper into the park.
Wake up early for a full day of game drives across the Serengeti. You’ll visit key wildlife areas like Seronera River Valley, known for its abundant wildlife. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration, with herds of wildebeest and zebras moving across the plains, followed by predators like lions and cheetahs. Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, descend into the crater for an incredible game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater, also known as the ‘Garden of Eden’, is a unique ecosystem that hosts a large concentration of wildlife, including elephants, rhinos, and flamingos in the crater’s alkaline lakes. The panoramic views are breathtaking, and the wildlife is equally impressive.
Today experience the ancient culture of the Hadzabe, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes in Tanzania. You’ll spend the day with them, learning traditional hunting techniques, gathering wild foods, and understanding their unique way of life. It’s a rare and immersive cultural experience in the heart of Tanzania’s wilderness.
On your final day, visit a Maasai village, where you will experience their rich culture and traditions firsthand. Enjoy a tour of the village, interact with the locals, and learn about their unique way of life. Afterward, transfer back to Arusha for your departure flight.
