An early breakfast before departing for the most famous reserve in Tanzania, the Serengeti National Park. A spectacular scenic drive as you make your way across the beautiful countryside. Enter the park and discover the endless plains that stretch as far as the eye can see, defying your senses and perception of distance. The park is the home of the great migration that sees almost 2 million wildebeests, thousands of zebras and various other antelope make their way across the vast plains.
Enjoy a full day in the Serengeti National Park, with a flexible schedule to fit your preferences. Decide on drive and wake up times and when you will return to camp for lunch. Explore the park as you search for the big cats that follow the massive herds in the hopes of capturing some spectacular photographs.
Today we suggest a very early wake up for a morning game drive with the best sunrises you will ever experience. After game drive, you will return to the camp for brunch before heading to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The massive crater with its 2.000 ft high walls houses almost every wildlife species that is indigenous to East Africa and is the most diverse reserve in Africa. It’s one of the rare locations where you can see the black rhino and his home to a massive soda lake attracting thousands of flamingos. The crater is truly a wonder of the natural world.
Start the day with an early descent into the crater in search of its incredible wildlife as you explore one of the most stunning places on earth. After the game drive, enjoy a picnic lunch near a beautiful hippo lake before continuing with some more game viewing. Ascend the crater and make your way to Arusha in the afternoon. Departure times are flexible and can be managed according to your flight.
