Your adventure kicks off with a scenic drive from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park, a place where nature’s wonders come to life. As you enter the park, the lush forest gives way to expansive plains and a soda ash lake that shimmers in the distance. Keep your eyes peeled for the famous tree-climbing lions, an iconic sight that’s sure to amaze the kids! The park is also home to hundreds of flamingos and a variety of bird species, making it a birdwatcher’s paradise. For added fun, visit the park’s hot springs, bubbling up from beneath the surface—nature’s own outdoor bath! After an exciting first day, enjoy a relaxed evening with the family, as you watch the sunset over this stunning landscape.
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s most famous wildlife destination. This vast, endless plain is home to iconic species, including lions, giraffes, zebras, and elephants. Spend the day exploring the Serengeti’s diverse ecosystems, with plenty of opportunities to see the Great Migration (depending on the time of year), as well as the park’s impressive wildlife. A fun-filled family game drive will give everyone a chance to spot the “Big Five”—lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos. The kids will love hearing stories from your guide about the park’s rich animal behaviors and the unique adaptations of the creatures who call it home. In the evening, unwind in the tranquil surroundings of your lodge and enjoy a delicious family meal.
Day three brings another full day of wildlife exploration. Today, take your time to discover the Serengeti’s secrets. Watch as massive herds of wildebeest and zebras graze, while cheetahs and hyenas lurk in the tall grass.
