Day by Day Overview
After an early breakfast, you will be met by your expert safari guide at your hotel. Thereafter you will start your journey to Tarangire National Park for a full day of game viewing. The park is rich with ancient giant baobab trees, also known as the ‘tree of life’, which covers most of the landscape of the park, The Tarangire National Park has the largest concentration of elephant which you can see bathing in the Tarangire River, as well as giraffes, monkeys, impalas, and many birds. It is also one of the most beautiful places to see lion and leopard. In the late afternoon, you will be driven to your lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
You will start your morning with a scrumptious breakfast and get ready for another day in the wilderness. Ngorongoro Crater Conservation area is in northern Tanzania and it is home to the large and sweeping, volcanic Ngorongoro Crater. Today you will be driven down into the Ngorongoro Crater for a magnificent game drive and wildlife watching. The crater has a vast number of animals including lion, wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, elephant, giraffe, cheetah and the rare black rhino. There is larger lake within the caldera which is also home to pink flamingos. Huge herds of wildebeest and zebra traverse its plains during their annual migration. After enjoying a spectacular array of wildlife, you will stop for lunch at the Ngorongoro picnic site.
After breakfast you will commence on your full day Serengeti game drive. The Serengeti National Park is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequalled for its natural beauty and scientific value, it has the greatest concentration of plains game in Africa. It is the migration for which Serengeti is perhaps most famous for. Today, we will drive along the Sogore River Circuit, which loops into the plains south of the Seronera River and is excellent for viewing large herds of elephants, Thomson’s gazelle, topi, ostrich, and hippopotamus. The Visitor Centre is well worth a visit after the morning’s game drive. This wonderfully designed centre offers some interesting wildlife displays with interesting information around the abundant wildlife. The itinerary is flexible and after lunch spend a fun filled day animal sighting as you experience the wild up-close and as the skies begin to turn crimson you will drive to your camp for a relaxing evening, dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, your game drive through the Serengeti will allow you to view animals and capture the wilderness in all its magnificence as you travel through the Serengeti. Look out for animals such a lion, elephant, zebra, giraffe, impala, leopard, cheetah, and many others in action. You may be lucky to see a predator hunting its prey in the wilderness. After this captivating experience, we travel back to the lodge in Arusha for dinner and overnight.
