Day by Day Overview

After breakfast, pick up from your hotel is at 8:00am and you will drive west to Maasai Mara Game Reserve, one of Kenya’s finest national parks, with lunch en route, arriving in time for an evening game drive. Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Although July, August, and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is resident wildlife year round. The famous Maasai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve. Dinner and overnight at the campsite (with hot showers and flush toilets).

After breakfast we will proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodile. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

After breakfast the driver will pick you up and proceed on a visit of the Masai Village (cost of USD10). Later on depart from the Mara region, heading to Nakuru, with lunch on the way. You will arrive in the evening and be dropped off at the City Max Hotel for your dinner and overnight.

On this day there is an option to pass by Lake Naivasha for a boat ride (extra cost of USD20 per person) at Lake Naivasha on your way to Nakuru.

After breakfast you will depart for a game drive in Lake Nakuru. Later drive to Nairobi with lunch en route, arriving in the afternoon for a drop off at the airport to connect with a flight to Mombasa/back home.
