Day by Day Overview
You will be picked up from your accommodation in Arusha and head straight to Tarangire National Park. Covering an area of approximately 2,850 square kilometres, the landscape here is composed of granite ridges, river valleys and swamps. Vegetation is a mix of acacia woodland, combretum woodland, seasonally flooded grassland and baobab trees. The park is famous for its high density of elephants and beautiful baobab trees. Spending a day here will let you see animals including elephants, giraffes, impalas, lions and leopards.

After breakfast, you will head straight to Lake Manyara National Park, a protected area in Tanzania’s Arusha and Manyara Regions, situated between Lake Manyara and the Great Rift Valley. It covers an area of 325 km2 (125 sq mi) including about 230 km2 (89 sq mi) lake surface. More than 350 bird species have been observed on the lake.

This morning you will head straight to the conservation area for a game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater. This is the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. The crater, which formed when a large volcano exploded and collapsed on itself two to three million years ago, is 610 metres deep and its floor covers 260 square kilometres. The crater, voted as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa, will give you the chance to see a wealth of wildlife and birds.

Accommodation name: Lake eyasi safari lodge
Today you will wake up early and head to Lake Eyasi where you follow your guide until he finds the Hadzabe tribe, one of the last true nomadic tribes in Africa. After some explanations about the tribe, you will join them in their daily activities. This experience is off the beaten track and does not feel touristy by any means. The photographic opportunities are out of this world and this fascinating tour will definitely be a highlight of your safari. Afterwards return to Arusha
