Embark on a 4-day Rwanda Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour Experience. You will start with Kigali city and proceed to Volcanoes National Park for golden monkey trekking with an option to upgrade to the gorilla trekking before crossing over the border to Uganda for an inclusive gorilla trekking adventure. Upon your arrival at Kigali Airport obtain an East African Tourist Visa for all your Rwanda and Uganda entries and you’re ready to go.

Day by Day Overview
After breakfast at your hotel in Kigali, Rwanda, your driver guide meets you for a briefing. This is followed with a visit to the Kigali Genocide Museum to pay your respects to the victims of the 1994 Rwandan genocide before leaving the lively capital. You drive north-west through lush hills and bustling market towns for approximately 2.5 hours, to the stunning Volcanoes National Park – well known as the venue for Dian Fossey’s pioneering studies of the mountain gorillas.
Overnight at Da Vinci Gorilla Lodge or Similar
Today you have the option to participate in the Rwanda gorilla trekking adventure (additional USD1,500) or to participate in the alternative golden monkey trekking tour.
Early morning breakfast will be followed by a transfer to Kinigi park headquarters for trekking briefing and then hike up into the rainforest to a troop of magnificent mountain gorillas. Each troop has its own 24 hour guard, so their location is known, you usually have an hour with them, time to sit and observe them at very close quarters indeed. After the day experience transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.
Overnight at Travelers Rest Hotel or Similar.
After an early morning breakfast, transfer to the ranger station for Uganda gorilla trekking. There’s a briefing on the dos and don’ts while you will be interacting with gorillas then you will be accompanied by a senior ranger guide for the hike into the forest in search of gorillas. Once you find them you usually have an hour with them, time to sit and observe them at very close quarters of 10 meters. After this amazing experience return back to the lodge.
Overnight at Travelers Rest Hotel or Similar
A leisurely breakfast will be followed by transfer back to Kigali , leaving the magnificent forest to the gorillas, marking the end of your Rwanda Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour Experience. Upon arrival in Kigali, Rwanda your driver guide will drop you at your hotel or at the airport targeting for your outbound departure time.
