Day by Day Overview
Morning: After a hearty breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive towards Tarangire National Park, renowned for its impressive herds of elephants. The park is also home to a diverse range of wildlife, including lions, zebras, wildebeests, and over 550 species of birds. Spend the day on an exciting game drive, enjoying a packed lunch while observing wildlife as they congregate around the Tarangire River, particularly during the dry season. As you explore the park’s stunning baobab-dotted landscape, keep a lookout for elusive big cats and the fascinating tree-climbing pythons that make this park unique.
Evening: After an enriching day of wildlife viewing, exit the park and head to your lodge or camp, where you can unwind, enjoy a delicious dinner, and spend the night in comfort.

Morning: After an early breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, descend into the renowned Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera. Enjoy an exhilarating game drive within this UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you’ll encounter the iconic “Big Five” (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard) as well as a variety of other wildlife. You may also spot flamingos at the picturesque Lake Magadi. Savor a picnic lunch on the crater floor, then continue your exploration in the afternoon, spotting more of the incredible wildlife that call this place home.
Evening: After a memorable day in the crater, ascend the caldera and return to your lodge or camp, where you can relax, enjoy a delicious dinner, and unwind for the night.

Explore the park’s unique groundwater forest and visit the natural hot springs, where the wildlife often gathers.
Afternoon: After enjoying a delicious picnic lunch, continue your game drive through the park or unwind by the lakeshore, watching the wildlife and birdlife in their natural habitat.

Morning: After breakfast, depart for Meserani Snake Park, located just outside Arusha. The park is home to a variety of snake species, including black mambas, cobras, and pythons, as well as crocodiles, birds of prey, and other reptiles.
Enjoy a guided tour, where you’ll learn about these fascinating creatures, their habitats, and their crucial roles in the ecosystem. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore the Masai Cultural Museum to gain insights into Maasai traditions and culture. For a unique experience, enjoy a camel ride around the park, immersing yourself in the local surroundings.
Afternoon: After your tour, enjoy lunch at the Meserani Snake Park café.
Later, return to Arusha, where your 4-day safari and snake park adventure comes to a close. You will then be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
