Day By Day Overview
Arrive at Seronera Airstrip from Zanzibar at approximately 11:00am. At hand to receive you will be our safari guide, who will have a picnic lunch for you and be ready for the safari. Then you will embark on your safari, stopping at around 1:00pm for lunch. After that, you will continue with your game drive, searching for the big cats of Serengeti and herbivores. Finally, you will drive back to your camp in the evening in time for dinner and your overnight stay at Serengeti Melia Lodge.

You will have breakfast at the camp and depart for your full-day game drive in the Serengeti. The Serengeti landscape is of mesmerizing beauty. While a sizable part of the park consists of seasonally flooded plains, forests, and shrub savannahs, the Serengeti is primarily about one thing, grassy plains. Being surrounded by millions of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle is an experience of a lifetime. In their annual migration north, they stampede over vast open plains and plunge into crocodile-infested rivers, all while the predators endlessly hunt them. After your picnic lunch on the Serengeti plains, you continue your game drive until the evening. You return to the camp as the sun sets over the horizon to wind down next to the crackling bushfire. Your overnight stay is at Serengeti Melia Lodge.

After breakfast, you will continue with the game drive. Today, you can do a full-day game drive or divide the game drives into an early morning session and an evening session. Dividing the sessions will give those who want to relax in the afternoon an opportunity to do so. For those wishing to see a lot, we advise heading out for the whole day.

After an early breakfast, you will bid the camp farewell, check out and start your last game drive in Serengeti before departing for your next destination. Finally, you will drive to Seronera Airstrip for your flight departing from Serengeti mid-morning towards Zanzibar.
