Day by Day Overview
After all the time planning your safari this is where it finally starts! Meet our professional guide and proceed to Tarangire National Park. Spend a full day exploring Tarangire National Park, with a back-drop of the spectacular, rust-hued Great Rift Valley. At Tarangire, find a stunning concentration of animals – herds of elephants, impalas and zebras all of which traverse the sprawling plains. Late afternoon proceed to your accommodation for shower, dinner and overnight.

Drive towards Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro route. The Serengeti eco-system is home to the “big five” (lion, African elephant, cape buffalo, leopard, rhinoceros). The other main species include zebra, wildebeest, various species of gazelles and antelopes, giraffes, cheetahs, hyenas, elephants, hippopotamus, crocodiles and some primate species such as vervet monkeys and olive baboons. It is also an endemic bird area, with a total of 505 species being documented so far. In the evening, we will arrive at the lodge for dinner and overnight.

It’s almost impossible to spend too much time in the Serengeti and with more than 1.6 million herbivores plus thousands of predators – there’s always something new and interesting to see. The changing seasons and natural light simply add to the diversity. The exciting sounds of Africa will rouse you from your sleep, having breakfast and start heading off on your morning game en route to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Later in the evening, arrive at the hotel for accommodation, shower, dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, start descending down the crater. With its abundant water, excellent grazing and natural protection from the densely vegetated crater walls, the crater provides shelter to over 25,000 animals, including the endangered black rhinoceros. Lunch will be taken in a picnic site inside the crater. After lunch, game view late, then ascend out of crater and transfer back to Arusha for departure.
