One of Kenya’s finest game reserves, the Masai Mara is home to over 450 species of wildlife and numerous birds. There is fantastic game viewing year round as well as the annual wildebeest and zebra migration during the months of July, August and September. This safari can either be for a private group/family or you can join a group of other travellers.

The trip is open to upgrade in terms of vehicles and accommodation on request. Accommodation can range from mid-range lodges to luxury lodges. The vehicles used are safari van with a pop up roof and 4×4 Land Cruiser with a pop up roof. The luxury lodges and 4×4 Land Cruisers are for private groups only. Meals are provided as per the request of the client – vegetarian and non vegetarian meals are available. Our meal plan is buffet so our guests can choose what they would like.

Day by Day Overview
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel at 7:00 am and driven west to Masai Mara Game Reserve, located in Narok county, 270 km from Nairobi, which is approximately 5 hours drive. Have lunch en route and arrive in time for an evening game drive. The Masai Mara Game Reserve is Kenya’s finest wildlife sanctuary. Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Although July, August, and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year round. The famous Masai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at the camp.
After breakfast we will proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game viewing in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodile. Dinner and overnight accommodations is at the camp.
Early breakfast will be followed by a day of tracking game with your guide in this park of savannah grassland. The driver will drop you at the camp for breakfast. Afterwards, you will depart to Nairobi with lunch en route. Arriving in the evening you will be dropped off at the airport or to your hotel.
