Day by Day Overview
The safari begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel or Kigali International Airport by our safari guide. After a short briefing, embark on a moving visit to the Gisozi Genocide Memorial, which documents Rwanda’s tragic past and promotes peace and reconciliation.
Afterwards, enjoy a scenic cross-border drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwestern Uganda. Upon arrival, immerse yourself in a cultural encounter with the Batwa Pygmies, the original forest dwellers of Bwindi. Experience their traditional music, dance, and storytelling.

Rise early for a once-in-a-lifetime experience – mountain gorilla trekking. After a briefing at the park headquarters, venture into the thick jungle led by an experienced guide and rangers. The trek can take 2–6 hours depending on the gorilla family’s location. Once found, you’ll spend one magical hour observing the gentle giants in their natural habitat.
After the trek, return for lunch and freshen up before transferring to Lake Bunyonyi, one of Africa’s most scenic lakes with terraced hills and dotted islands. Relax, take a canoe ride (optional), or simply enjoy the views.
