Day by Day Overview
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be greeted by your guide and driven straight to the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. Spend the day enjoying stunning views of the world’s highest free-standing mountain, and if you’re up for it, take a short hike to experience the mountain’s surroundings. After your trip, you’ll be transferred to Moshi for your overnight stay, where you can relax and enjoy the serene atmosphere.
After breakfast, head to Mkomazi National Park, a hidden gem known for its rare wildlife, including the endangered black rhino and African wild dog. This park offers a great mix of savannah, wetlands, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy exciting game drives and bird watching, exploring the park’s unique landscapes. Later, you’ll return to Arusha for another night, where you can unwind after a day full of adventure.
On the final day of your safari, you’ll journey to Tarangire National Park, famous for its vast elephant herds and stunning baobab trees. Spend the day exploring the park on thrilling game drives, encountering an array of wildlife such as lions, giraffes and zebras. Afterward, you’ll be driven back to Arusha, where you’ll be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure.
