This group safari takes you to explore Kenya’s remarkable Maasai Mara, an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. Its animals include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, and hippos. Wildebeest traverse these plains during the annual wildebeest migration. The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers.

Day by Day Overview
Begin your Masai Mara Safari at our departure location along Koinange Street, The CJ’s Restaurant in the city center where you enjoy a complimentary English breakfast (Between 7:00 am – 8:00 am). Board our jeep and after everyone has been picked up head to the Masai Mara with the first stopover at the great escarpment for a photo opportunity. Continue with the 5-hour drive and arrive at your camp for check-in and lunch. Spend the afternoon relaxing at the lodge. Based on the other guest’s hotels, agree on a pickup time for the afternoon game drive where you enter the park gate at 4:00 pm. Here you will search for zebras, antelopes, giraffes, elephants, and lions. At sunset, and after a beautiful time, drive back to camp for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, we will leave the camp at 8:00 am for a full day of game viewing. Here we search for lions hunting, leopards, elephants, and much more. We will have a short walking safari on the banks of the Mara River to spot the crocodiles, hippo families, and migration routes. This will be followed by a picnic lunch and a photo opportunity at the Serengeti–Maasai Mara border point. We continue with the drive searching and spotting wildlife to the end the day. Spend the evening at leisure with dinner and overnight at the camp.

After a wonderful time at the world famous Maasai Mara, we check out and depart for Nairobi. We will have a stopover at the Maasai Village for a 1-hour cultural tour where you will learn more about the Maasai community and their way of life. After a great time, drive to Nairobi with a stopover for lunch. Upon arrival drop off at the CJ’S Restaurant in the city center. (If your hotel is along the safari route we will give a complimentary drop-off).
