Day by Day Overview
After a pick-up from your hotel or at the airport, you will proceed north through central Kenya to the foot hills of the Aberdare and magnificent snowcapped peaks of Mount Kenya. You will arrive in time for lunch, check-in as you get ready to explore the Sweetwater, Ol Pejeta Conservancy. The Ol Pejeta Conservancy and its beautiful ranch were once the private domain of famed multi-millionaire Adnan Khashoggi. A visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a charming haven established by Jane Goodall Institute, provides a sanctuary to orphaned chimpanzees. You’ll also visit the specially-protected blind black rhino and the last two remaining northern white rhino in the world, which you can get quite close to. Sweetwater boosts excellent game viewing with the highest ratio of game to area of any park or reserve in Kenya. We leave the conservancy before dark for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Today’s itinerary is flexible and you can discuss with your guide and plan for the day’s schedule After breakfast, you can either depart for a full-day game drive with picnic lunch or a half-day game drive returning for late lunch. A night game drive in Sweetwaters Ol Pejeta Conservancy offers a unique and thrilling experience, allowing visitors to explore the African bush under the cover of darkness. As the sun sets, the landscape transforms, revealing a different array of wildlife and sounds that are often hidden during the day.
