Day by Day Overview
We will pick you up from Jomo Kenyatta Airport or your accommodation hotel in Nairobi and take you on a scenic drive southeast towards Amboseli National Park, with at least one health stop to use the restrooms. You will arrive at the camp in good time for lunch. In the afternoon, you will embark on your first game drive to explore the park, which spans 392 square kilometers and is renowned for its panoramic view of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest freestanding mountain on earth and the tallest in Africa, standing at 5,895 meters. Amboseli is also known as an elephant’s paradise, where massive African savannah elephants roam from swamp to swamp, grazing all day. After enjoying a satisfying breakfast, you will embark on an exhilarating early morning game drive. You will have the choice of returning to the lodge for a hearty hot lunch or taking along picnic lunch boxes to savor amidst the natural beauty of the park before journeying back to Nairobi, arriving in the mid-afternoon.
