This exciting safari tour takes you to Zambia’s Kafue National Park southern region whilst staying in clean and comfortable flats outside the park; just a distance of 4 kms from park entrance. You will also camp for one night at Nahubwe Safari Lodge campsite outside the park on Lake Itezhi Tezhi. No Zambia wildlife safari would be complete without a visit to Kafue National Park, one of Africa’s largest parks and especially good for spotting a variety of bird species and lions.

Not everyone likes to stay in tented accommodation whilst on safari tour to Kafue National Park. Others would like to stay in a clean and comfortable accommodation facilities at a fairly affordable price. So we have the solution for you. Enjoy an affordable stay in a clean and comfortable lodging at either CMS Lodge or at Kafue Flats or at the luxurious Main Guest Rooms in Itezhi Tezhi located 4 km outside Kafue National Park. It can easily be accessed by public transport from Lusaka
Kafue National Park
Kafue National Park is the largest national park in Zambia covering an area of about 22,400 sq km. It’s the second largest park in Africa, rich in diverse wildlife including the Big Five

Day by Day Overview
05:30 am – 06:10 am: Wake up call from either CMS Lodge or Kafue or Main Guest Flats in Itezhi Tezhi town about 4 km away from the entrance of the park. Thereafter take breakfast.
06:20 am – 09:30 am: Leave for Ngoma game area of the KNP-South for game viewing
09:30 am – 10:30 am: Travel to the Ngoma management area inside the KNP-South
10:20 am – 11.30 am: Commence touring and game viewing around Ngoma area management
11:30 am – 12:00 pm: Drive to the Elephant Orphanage within the KNP-South. See the marvelous work being done in looking after vulnerable elephants. Any donation in kind or cash is welcome to support the work being done in caring for the elephants.

Afternoon 12:30 pm – 13:30 pm: Lunch break at Elephant Orphanage centre.
14:00 pm – 16:30 pm: Afternoon game drive around the Ngoma game management area
17:00 pm – 18:00 pm: Travel outside Kafue National Park to Nahubwe campsite outside Kafue National for camping excursion, relax and prepare a bonfire.
20: 00 pm: Dinner
21:00 pm– Retire to bed
This morning you will be transferred back to Itezhi Tezhi town.
