Samburu National Reserve is a wildlife reserve located in Kenya’s Samburu County, covering around 165 square kilometers along the Ewaso Ng’iro River. The reserve is famous for its unique wildlife, including reticulated giraffes, Grevy’s zebras, Somali ostriches, and gerenuks, alongside elephants, lions, leopards, and buffaloes. Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a wildlife conservancy located in Laikipia County, Kenya. It is one of the largest black rhino sanctuaries in East Africa and home to the last two remaining northern white rhinos in the world, making it an iconic destination for conservation efforts. Spanning over 360 square kilometers, Ol Pejeta also hosts the “Big Five” game animals: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhinoceros, along with numerous other species of mammals, birds, and flora. It offers various activities including game drives, guided walks, and visits to its chimpanzee sanctuary, making it a popular destination for wildlife enthusiasts and tourists alike.
Lake Nakuru is a shallow, alkaline lake located in the rift valley of Kenya. It is renowned for its vibrant pink hue, due to the massive gatherings of flamingos along its shores. The lake is surrounded by lake Nakuru national park, offering a diverse landscape that includes grasslands, woodlands and rocky cliffs. Besides the flamingos, the park is home to numerous bird species, as well as various mammals, making it a popular destination for wildlife enthusiasts.
Maasai Mara National Reserve is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in south-western Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration. The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers. The area nearby is dotted with villages (enkang’s) of Maasai people. Maasai Mara is renowned for having the highest concentration of the big cats, not only in east Africa but worldwide.
Zanzibar is an archipelago off the coast of Tanzania in East Africa. Known for its stunning beaches, rich cultural heritage, and spice trade history, it consists of several islands, the largest being Unguja and Pemba. Zanzibar is also renowned for its diverse cultural influences, including Arab, Indian, African, and European, making it a vibrant melting pot of traditions and customs.

Day by Day Overview
Meet on arrival at the airport and transfer to Tamarind Tree Hotel (booked on BB), relax waiting for your safari the following day.
Overnight at Tamarind Tree Hotel
Drive to Aberdare National Park after an early breakfast. Arrive in time for lunch and check in at the Ark Lodge. Spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure enjoying excellent views of animals visiting the waterhole from the observation platforms of the lodge.
Dinner and overnight at Ark Lodge
After breakfast drive to Samburu National Reserve arriving for lunch and check in. Samburu National Park is most famous for the ‘Samburu Five’ which are unique species of animal, including the reticulated giraffe, the Somali ostrich, the Grevy’s zebra, the beisa oryx and the gerenuk. You’ll spend three days on a safari in the Samburu National Reserve.
All meals and overnight stay at Ashnil Samburu Camp
Have breakfast and then depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy. On arrival, check in at Sweetwaters Tented Camp for lunch. Relax until 1600 hrs then head out for an afternoon game drive. The Conservancy hosts all the members of the ‘Big Five’ (elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo and leopard), non-indigenous chimpanzees as well as boasting a higher wildlife-to-area ratio than any Kenyan national park. It is one of only four private game conservancies to have been founded in Kenya.
Dinner and overnight at Sweetwaters Tented Camp
Early morning breakfast and depart to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving at the lodge time for lunch. After lunch relax until 1600 hrs when it’s time for an evening game drive with a chance to see rhinos, different wildlife and birds.
Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge
After breakfast, drive to the Maasai Mara National Reserve, the most famous game reserve for its breathtaking scenery of wildebeest migration. It is famous for its abundance of wildlife and birdlife. Arrive in time for check in and lunch at Castel Mara Camp. You’ll spend the next few days at the camp, enjoying morning and afternoon game drives in the Maasai Mara Reserve.
All meals and overnight at Castel Mara Camp
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight to the Wilson airport where you will have your connecting flight to Zanzibar. On arrival, you will be transferred to the Langi Langi Beach Bungalows, where you will spend the rest of your honeymoon.

You will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home, depending on your departure time.
