Day by Day Overview
Start your day with an early breakfast before departing Nairobi around 7:30 a.m. for the scenic drive to Samburu Game Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or camp, followed by a relaxed afternoon. In the evening, head out for your first game drive in the stunning Samburu National Reserve. Located north of the equator, Samburu is known for its unique, drought-resistant wildlife. Spot rare species found only in this region, such as the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, gerenuk, and Beisa oryx. You may also encounter elephants, lions, and leopards during your safari.
Overnight at: Samburu Simba Camp or Sarova Shaba Lodge (Full Board)
After an early breakfast, set off on a morning game drive through the breathtaking landscapes of northern Kenya. This region is home to several rare and unique species, including the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk. Spend approximately four hours exploring the reserve’s rugged beauty and diverse wildlife. Return to the lodge for a well-deserved lunch, followed by time to relax and enjoy the surroundings. At 16:00, embark on an evening game drive, as the golden light casts a magical glow over the savannah and animals become more active. The drive concludes around 18:00.

Start your day with an early breakfast before departing for Lake Nakuru. Enjoy a scenic drive with a short game viewing experience en route. We’ll make a brief stop at the Equator for photos and a fascinating demonstration, then continue to Nyahururu for a relaxing lunch break. The journey continues through the picturesque Kenya Highlands, famous for their rolling coffee and tea plantations. Stop at the iconic Great Rift Valley viewpoint for panoramic views and enjoy a visit to a local tea plantation for a taste of Kenya’s rich agricultural heritage. Arrive in Lake Nakuru in time for a delicious lunch at your lodge or hotel. In the afternoon, set out for an evening game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its rhinos, flamingos, and diverse birdlife.
Overnight: Sarova Lion Hill Lodge (Full Board)
After breakfast, embark on a short morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Famous for its vibrant birdlife, the park offers sightings of pelicans, storks, and a wide variety of other avian species. It’s also a haven for wildlife enthusiasts, with resident buffaloes, Rothschild giraffes, both white and black rhinos, plains game, and the occasional sighting of elusive big cats. Later in the day, depart for the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive in the evening and immerse yourself in an authentic cultural experience with a visit to a traditional Masai village, offering a unique insight into the customs and lifestyle of the Masai people.
Overnight: Sarova Mara Camp (Full Board)
After an early breakfast, we set off for a full-day game drive, complete with a picnic lunch in the heart of the Masai Mara. The landscape unfolds in a breathtaking panorama of scenic savannah grasslands and gently rolling hills, a perfect backdrop for wildlife viewing. The Masai Mara is world-renowned for its rich biodiversity, including the iconic black-maned lions, majestic elephants, formidable black rhinos, and large herds of buffalo. We’ll also encounter an abundance of plains game—such as the ever-graceful Masai giraffes and sturdy wildebeest (Gnus)—with the occasional, thrilling sighting of a leopard if luck is on our side. Our journey will take us to the banks of the Mara River, a lifeline of the reserve and a focal point during the Great Migration. If our timing aligns with the season, we may witness one of nature’s most dramatic spectacles: the crossing of the Mara River by wildebeest, zebras, and other plains game—a thrilling and unforgettable experience. After a full day of exploration and awe-inspiring sightings, we return to camp in the evening.

After breakfast, proceed for another full-day game drive in the Mara. Whoever likes to do balloon safari (optional) in Mara, there is an opportunity. Balloon safari combines one and a half hours of flight plus champagne breakfast and an en route game drive as the hookup with the rest for a full day game drive until 18 hours. Masai Mara is the most visited park in Kenya, and this is accredited to the high concentration of animals, not forgetting the spectacular animals’ migration, which takes place every year!
Overnight: Sarova Mara Camp (Full Board)
After a hearty breakfast, depart for the tranquil shores of Lake Naivasha, nestled in the heart of the Great Rift Valley. Arrive in time for lunch at your lakeside lodge, where panoramic views set the tone for a relaxing afternoon. Later, embark on a scenic boat ride across the calm, glassy waters of the lake. Glide past acacia-fringed shores and marvel at the vibrant birdlife—spot majestic African fish eagles swooping for prey, graceful herons wading near the reeds, and vivid kingfishers darting along the water’s edge. Watch for pods of hippos basking and bobbing in their natural habitat, adding a touch of wild charm to the peaceful landscape!
Overnight: Enashipai resort or Naivasha Simba Lodge (Full Board)
After breakfast, we depart for the iconic Amboseli National Park, renowned for its stunning landscapes and thriving wildlife. We arrive in time for a relaxing lunch at our lodge, where you can unwind and soak in the serene surroundings. In the afternoon, we head out on an exciting game drive, exploring the park until 6:00 PM. Amboseli is famous for its large herds of elephants, as well as wildebeests (gnus), buffalos, gazelles, lions, cheetahs, playful monkey families, and a variety of rare bird species. As evening falls, the skies often clear to reveal a breathtaking sight—Mount Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped peak glowing against the African sunset.
Overnigh: Kibo Safari camp or Amboseli Serena lodge (Full Board)
Begin your day with an early morning breakfast before heading out on a thrilling game drive through the iconic Amboseli National Park. Experience the park at its most active, with wildlife roaming against the stunning backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to the lodge by 11:00 AM for lunch, then spend the late morning and afternoon relaxing at the lodge or enjoying its amenities. As the day cools, set out once more for an evening game drive—when the golden hour light creates perfect conditions for unforgettable wildlife photography!
Overnight: Kibo Safari Camp or Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge
After breakfast, depart for Nairobi, arriving in time to enjoy a relaxed lunch in the city. Later, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your onward flight, bringing your incredible journey to a close. (Breakfast, lunch).
