Leave Livingstone and head to Botswana’s Chobe National Park. This park is home to the world’s largest elephant population and Africa’s largest predators, including lions, leopards and wild dogs. An early start ensures the best opportunities for viewing big cats and other nocturnal animals. Spend the morning spotting game and sketching or painting what you find. Eat lunch on the majestic water front at Chobe Safari Lodge in Kasane. After lunch, enjoy leisure time on the wooden deck overlooking Chobe River. Next, head out on a boat cruise, where you’ll have the opportunity to get up close and personal with hippo, crocodile, and of course scores of elephant and cape buffalo which congregate to quench their thirst. Return to the lodge for dinner and leisure time.

After breakfast, attend a second workshop at Zulu Art Studio in Livingstone, where you will be split into groups to discuss what you have observed in the field so far. Enjoy dinner at the lodge in the evening.
