This short safari will take you to Uganda’s largest park – Murchison Falls National Park, situated in northwestern Uganda on an area of 3,840 sq km, gazetted in 1926 as a game reserve. Murchison Falls is home to over 451 bird species such as the great blue turaco, the shoebill, and the dwarf kingfisher among others, 76 mammal species, a big number of Nile crocodiles and above all the magnificent and thunderous Murchison Falls squeezing their way through a gorge that is 8m wide.

Day by Day Overview
Our driver and company representative will arrive at an agreed place of your convenience at 6:30 am. You will have a briefing about the safari and then head north to Murchison Falls National Park, driving through the famous Luwero triangle then head north to Murchison Falls National Park, you will have lunch at Kabalega Dinners then proceed to the Pakwach. You will check in the hotel for dinner and overnight, enjoy a beautiful evening at your lodge.
You will have breakfast at 6am and then at 6:30 am, head out for an early morning game drive. You will drive through the northern bank of the park in search of various animals including elephants, buffaloes, bushbucks, lions, leopards, giraffes, hartebeests and a variety of bird species. You will go for lunch at 12:00 pm and then at 1:00 pm, drive to the Nile for a two-hour launch cruise to the substructure of the Murchison Falls. Along the banks of the river, you may have an opportunity to see the amazing hippos, crocodiles and water birds. After the boat you will be driven to the top of the Falls. View the scenic Falls and see where the Nile explodes to become a placid river with rainbow colors. You will have time to enjoy the view and sounds of world’s most powerful waterfall, take pictures and videos of the Falls to keep the memories alive. Then head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
You will rise up early for breakfast at 6:00 am and then prepare to checkout of lodge at 7:00 am. You will head back to Entebbe with lunch at Kabalega on the way. Our driver will drive you to your agreed place or airport for your flight.
