Day by Day Overview
After arriving at Kilimanjaro or Arusha airport you will meet with our guide for tour information and transfer to hotel or straight on safari depending on your flight. We will start our safari tour in Serengeti where will pass through Ngorongoro gate, then enjoy a half-day game drive where we will see many animals which may include lion, leopards, giraffes, buffalos, elephants and more.
Dinner and overnight in Acacia Lodge, Serengeti Cottages or similar
After breakfast you will go for a full day of game viewing in the UNESCO World Heritage site – Ngorongoro Crater. Spot animals such as cheetah, lion, black rhinoceros, hippopotamus, wildebeest, zebra, eland, Grant’s and Thompson’s gazelles, leopards, elephants, mountain reedbuck, buffalo, hartebeest, waterbuck, warthog, hyena and jackals as well as primates including baboons and velvet monkeys. During the game drive you might spot some birds which include ostrich, secretary bird, black eagles, kori bustard, crowned crane, marabou stork, martial eagle, lovebirds, bustards and plovers. In addition, European migrants from November to May include white storks, swallows, yellow wagtails, stonechat, Schawlow’s wheatear, anteater chat, fiscal shrike, augur buzzard, Verreaux’s eagle and flamingo.
Dinner and overnight stay in Manyara Safari Lodge or similar
This morning after breakfast ,we will head to the place where you may see lions climbing the trees – Manyara National Park. This is due to the nature of national park that allow them to climb trees so it’s thought that they can see and hunt more effectively. Here in Manyara there are other attractions such as hot springs and the lake itself.
Dinner and overnight in Tarangire Cottages
Today head to Tarangire National Park, known for being a paradise for African elephants that move together in larger groups compared to other places. Tarangire National Park has a nice picnic spot where you rest while viewing wildlife.
Dinner and overnight in Kibo Hotel
After having a great time in the wilderness, we will transfer to the airport ready to head back home.
