Day By Day Overview
After breakfast, our safari guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and drive you to Tarangire National Park for a game drive and picnic lunch. Tarangire National Park is named after the Tarangire river that crosses through it and is famous for its big herds of elephant, huge baobab trees and high numbers of predators. There is a plethora to see and explore here.
After breakfast, we leave Karatu village and enter Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We proceed to cross Ngorongoro Highlands until Serengeti, moving north to Lobo, Bologonya and Mara regions looking for the great migration. In Lobo, Bologonya and Mara regions in North Serengeti, we can spot the great migration during summer (July to October), the herds move north and congregate before crossing the Mara river full of big crocodile.
Commence your expedition with an invigorating pre-dawn game drive in the central Serengeti. Witness apex predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards commencing their daily hunts as the sun paints the horizon. As the temperature rises, strategically position yourself near a prominent watering hole. Observe the spectacle of diverse herbivores converging for hydration, offering exceptional photographic opportunities. Conclude the day with luxurious accommodations at a permanent lodge or a meticulously maintained campsite within the park
Embark on a full-day game drive venturing westward towards the mighty Grumeti and Mara Rivers. These lifeblood’s of the ecosystem teem with crocodiles and hippopotamuses, guaranteeing thrilling sightings. During the Great Migration (December-July), witness the awe-inspiring spectacle of wildebeest and zebra herds thundering across the rivers in a primal display of survival. Retire for the evening at a pre-arranged lodge or campsite nestled within the western corridor.
