I’m Amanuel Gizachew, founder of Orient Ethiopia Tours and a licensed tour guide with over 9 years of experience exploring Ethiopia’s incredible landscapes, cultures, and historical sites. I was born in the historic city of Gonder and have dedicated my career to helping travelers discover the true beauty and diversity of my country. From the rock-hewn churches of Lalibela to the tribal heartlands of the Omo Valley, I’ve led tours across all corners of Ethiopia. I have a deep connection with southern communities like the Hamar, Mursi, and Karo tribes, and I’m committed to creating authentic, respectful, and unforgettable experiences for every guest.
