Kilimanjaro Safari Experience is a tour company located in the heart of Kilimanjaro. Owned by an indigenous Tanzanian, its team of expert staff maintains its professionalism with over 10 years of experience in the Tanzanian tourism industry. Currently the company is germinating from a little seedling in to a small plant. We plan wildlife safaris, beach holidays and mountain treks.

Safari and Kilimanjaro experience with the best guides I can imagine
We (a friend and me) asked Shungu for a three week tour around Tanzania. We both travel a lot and therefore we have some experience with tour operators, but Shungu's organization was nearly perfect. He was very carrying from the beginning (pick up the airport) till the drop off at the airport. We were all the time in contact with him and it was very easy going with him.
But not only Shungu is a great guy, his entire team is awesome. My friend is a little bit chubby and not that fit, but Issa managed to get him up to the summit of the Kilimanjaro without bringing him in danger. He felt all the time secure and that was incredible. Our driver Ebenezer was a special, skilled, experienced and helpful guide during the safari tours. He tried his best to find the animals and we saw all big 5 and a lot more. Many of them were very close.
Overall, our trip was perfect, much better than we expected. Many thanks for the great experience. Hope to see you soon ?
Simply Amazing!
As a big family of 6 persons we started our tour at the small airport of Arusha. Our tour guide Shungu was already waiting for us and we quickly stopped in the city to buy some sim cards and some other belongings for the next couple of days. We always felt safe around Shungu and he showed us Arusha in a nutshell. It was a fantastic start!
On the next day, we met our lovely safari guide Franklyn and we started our journey to the Tarangire National Park after breakfast. Franklyn had a brilliant feeling for our mood and was always making the right choices (i.e. time for breaks). He has a wide knowledge about all the different fauna and animals. The 4 days-tour was perfect for us safari rookies.
This will definitely not be our last tour with KSE. It was a pleasure to get to know you guys!
Great personalized service
I organised a 4 day lodge safari in Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Manyara, communicating directly with Philbert, the company owner.
On the morning my safari started, we had a last minute issue with mobile lodge providers closing down in Serengeti and Ngorongoro, due to covid business impacts. Philbert phoned me personally to explain available alternative accommodation and arranged for appropriate refunds that were paid immediately to my credit card.
The safaris were incredible, including a number of very rare sightings - a full successful lion hunt, a cheetah jumping onto our jeep and 2 leopards seen in 1 Manyara game drive. Plus all of the big 5 and much more.
Philbert also arranged to meet me personally on my final day in Arusha with his driver and escorted me to the airport. He also checked all was well upon my return home..
A very professional, and friendly personal service. I would highly recommend.
