Day by Day Overview

After a short briefing you will make your way to the Tarangire National Park. The park is home to the Tarangire River that attracts large herds of elephant. Explore the park on a game drive, making your way past the ancient baobabs that dot the landscape as you search for wildlife including the gerenuk and fringe-eared oryx. Later in the afternoon you will head to your campsite for the night.

Overnight at Campsite: lunch & dinner

After breakfast you will leave the park and head to Mto wa Mbu, a famous village that is home to numerous local tribes. Enjoy the culturally diverse markets and shop for some souvenirs before making your way to the famous Serengeti National Park. Explore the park in search of its large big cat population and the massive herds of migrating wildebeest and zebra. Witness some of the most spectacular wildlife scenes in this iconic park when watching the herds cross the river before heading to your campsite in the evening after an amazing day of game viewing.

Overnight at Campsite: breakfast, lunch & dinner

Head out for an early morning game drive as the sun rises over the vast open plains of the Serengeti. The large herds of antelope support large populations of the big cats which are most active in the early hours of the morning. If you are lucky, you may be able to see them on the hunt or eating their freshly caught meal. Later you will head back to the campsite for breakfast before driving to the Ngorongoro Crater. Spend the night at a campsite on the crater’s edge with spectacular views allowing you to watch the sun set over the massive caldera and its world of wildlife that lies within.

Overnight at Campsite: breakfast, lunch & dinner

After an early breakfast you will make your way down the steep rim walls into the lush reserve below. The crater is inhabited by a spectacular array of wildlife, including all of the big five which you could see. Enjoy an amazing game drive before stopping for a picnic lunch. In the afternoon you will head out of the crater and make your way back to Arusha.
