Day by Day Overview
Land at Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will be met by one of our representatives and taken to your hotel for dinner.
Overnight at Ngara Sero Mountain Lodge/similar
Have a leisurely breakfast followed by a short safari briefing and head out to Tarangire National Park. You will arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. Thereafter enjoy an afternoon game drive through a landscape dotted with baobab trees and umbrella-thorn acacias. Visit Silalei Swamp and Tarangire River, famous for attracting some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa.

You will have a full day of game viewing in the park with morning and afternoon game drives. Enjoy a hearty lunch in the early afternoon in between your drives. The Tarangire River helps support large populations of animals all year round even during the dry season so the game viewing is always excellent.

After breakfast you will leave the park and go to a Maasai village to catch a glimpse into the lives of these fascinating tribal people. Explore their village with the traditional mud huts and see their impressive bead-work designs. Depart the village and drive to Mto wa Mbu for a guided tour through this village, home to more then 100 different Tanzanian tribes. Enjoy a local lunch in the village before proceeding to the Ngorongoro Highlands for the evening.

An early start, leaving the camp with your breakfast and lunch boxes. Descend into the crater for a full day spent exploring this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Abundant wildlife with spectacular game viewing in amazing landscapes with an impressive backdrop of the crater walls promises to make a lasting impression. This crater is the largest unbroken volcanic caldera on earth and houses an extremely diverse world of wildlife within its boundaries. Enjoy a picnic breakfast after making your way into the crater followed by a visit to the hippo pool near the Mandusi Swamp. Later a picnic lunch before some more game viewing before you head back to camp.

Leave the lodge after an early breakfast for your final drive in the crater. Later make your way to your camp in the Serengeti. In the afternoon, explore the southern Serengeti plains and the Ndutu forest, home to the enormous herds of migrating wildebeest and zebras.

Enjoy a full day of game viewing, exploring the southern Serengeti plains and the Ndutu forest in search of the animals you have not yet found and for the massive herds once more. Discover the magnificent big cats including cheetah who pursue the herds of Thomson’s Gazelles. Later make your way to camp after an exciting day of great sightings.

Another full day of game drives awaits. Explore Lake Masek, Lake Ndutu, the Hidden Valley, Kusini Valley and the Kakesio Plains during your game drive. Keep an eye out for lions that will be following the wildebeest and explore the wide open spaces of this famous reserve.

After breakfast you will make your way to the eastern plains via the Gol Kopjes. This area is a beautiful habitat consisting of rock mounds and short grass. Driving through this area is always a breathtaking experience, with the beautiful rocks giving excellent opportunities to look out across the vast open plains. Enjoy a leisurely game drive before heading to your camp in the late afternoon.

A full day of game viewing around the central Serengeti plains beginning with an early morning drive before sunrise. Watch the sun rise over the plains as you drive through the park in search of the wildlife you have come to see. Excellent photographic opportunities while visiting the Retima hippo pool, Maasai, Sametu and Moru Kopjes. Take in all the park has to offer on your last full day of the safari.

An early breakfast at the camp before leaving for the Seronera airstrip with some game viewing en-route. Board your flight to Arusha, flying over the park and seeing it from the air. In Arusha, enjoy a cultural lunch and shop for some souvenirs before heading to Ngara Sero Mountain lodge for the day to relax. Enjoy an early dinner and head to the airport for your flight.
