Day by Day Overview
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, Ganyana safari driver/guide will meet and greet then transfer you to your accommodation in Entebbe in order for you relax after the long journey.
Accommodation: Best Western Premier Garden Hotel/ Admas Grand Hotel
Ganyana safari driver/ guide will pick you from the hotel, then begin a drive to Murchison Falls Uganda’s largest and oldest national park, four of the big five can be spotted here– Lion, Buffalo, Elephant, Leopard and many other animals with a stopover at Nakasongola where you will have lunch then transfer to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary, an asylum to the Rhinos.

Enjoy breakfast in the wilderness. Head out for an early morning game drive at 6.00 am. Later enjoy an afternoon boat cruise on the placid Victoria Nile to the bottom of the magnificent Murchison Falls where the Nile plunges through a narrow crevice. You will be able to see the Nile crocodile, bloat of hippos and a variety of bird species. Later in the evening game drive in the Northern sector of the park.

Head to the top of the falls. Then continue driving through the undulating highlands of Southwestern Uganda on our way to the greener and beautiful Fort Portal area. Reach the park and go for nature walk in Bigodi Swamp.

Head off on foot to track the chimpanzees of Kibale national park, home of an impressive 500 chimpanzees. Kibale national park covers 795km squared mostly equatorial rainforest terrain. This national park is home to numerous forest wildlife species, boasting one of the highest concentrations of primates in the world. The 13 primate species include black and white colobus monkeys etc.

You will then embark on a journey to Queen Elizabeth national park. You will arrive ready for lunch and later on the evening, pay a visit to the salt lakes of Katwe and tour the local community. You will head to the lodge, have dinner and overnight.

Go for a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth national park exploring the area along Kasenyi and Queens’s Mile. In the afternoon, you will embark on a two- hour boat trip on Kazinga channel, getting up close to hippos, buffalos and other wildlife. When back on the shores, you can still have an evening game drive which is optional, then ride back to the lodge for dinner and night.

Set out for a game drive in the Ishasha area bracing yourself for a chance to see the rare tree-climbing lions. After proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable forest National Park in preparation for your next day Gorilla trek.
Accommodation: Lake Mulehe Safari Lodge
Go for gorilla trekking, this could take 4-8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. After trekking, meet your driver and transfer back to the hotel where you will unwind as you reflect on the memorable gorilla trek.

Depart for Lake Bunyonyi, which is the second deepest lakes in Africa. Lake Bunyonyi has almost 32 Islands and is a good stop over for relaxation from trekking Mountain Gorillas. Upon arrival, you will go on a boat ride, which will enable you visit most of the islands on the Lake. Return to the Lodge for relaxation while you watch the beautiful sunset.

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. After lunch in the afternoon enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Mburo. Head back at the lodge, relax in the evening and have Dinner.

As we drive along Mpigi- Masaka highway, we shall make a stopover at the Equator, take photos and buy some souvenirs. Transfer to Jinja the first industrial town of Uganda. You will visit the source of the Nile. At the source of the Nile enjoy an evening sunset boat ride also get a chance to see the mighty River Nile (longest river in Africa) starting its journey all the way to the Mediterranean.

Enjoy White water rafting on the Nile. Later then head out for tubing on the Nile that. Enjoy more of adrenaline drifting on the Nile right at its source. After these activities you will embark on your journey back to Entebbe.

After an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport in time for your flight back home.
