Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or airport in the morning and depart for Samburu National Reserve, a 6-hour drive stopping at the Equator line at Nanyuki town near Mt. Kenya on the way. Proceed to Samburu arriving with a short game drive to the camp. Check in at Ashnil Samburu Camp and have lunch. Late afternoon game drive across the park with its unique resident wildlife species including the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, beisa oryx and the blue legged Somali ostrich.
Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Samburu Camp
Early morning game drive, then break for full breakfast at your camp. Leave Samburu for Aberdare, a 4-hour drive arriving with a short game drive in time for lunch and check in at Aberdare Hotel. Have lunch and relax before an afternoon transfer across Aberdares Park to The Ark, The Ark has four viewing decks with balconies and lounges to provide superb game viewing from the comfort of the lodge – the wildlife comes to you!

Early morning breakfast then a game drive as you leave Aberdare for Lake Nakuru, a 5-hour drive passing through the Great Rift Valley escarpment. You will arrive in time for check in and lunch at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge. Afternoon game drive across the Pink Lake, named for its great masses of flamingos although currently due to climate change and high water level less flamingos are seen these days. The park is also home to the famous white and black rhino.
Dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge
After an early morning breakfast leave Lake Nakuru for the Masai Mara National Reserve, a 5-hour drive. Check in at Ashnil Mara Camp or Sarova Mara Game Camp and have lunch. Afternoon game drive through the park in search of lion, cheetah, elephant, buffalo and much more as well as a visit to the Mara River.
Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Mara Camp or Sarova Mara Game Camp
Enjoy an early morning game drive before returning to camp for breakfast. Then spend a full day in the park with a packed lunch. Search for its popular residents including the well known predators and and plenty of other game such as zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, hippo and crocodiles.
Meals and overnight at Ashnil Mara Camp or Sarova Mara Game Camp
After an early breakfast, check out of the camp and drive back to Nairobi, arriving in time for lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant. Afterwards you’ll be dropped off at your respective hotel or the airport around 3pm.
