Wake up and enjoy a leisurely breakfast before heading out to meet the Batwa Tribe that live in the area and hunt and gather in the forest to survive as they have for generations. The Batwa people have been marginalized by most of Uganda’s other ethnic groups and as a result rarely leave the forest. Experience some of their culture with a traditional song and dance demonstration and enjoy seeing the pride it sparks in them. Return to your lodge to freshen up and have lunch before returning to Kigali for your flight.
