Meet and greet at Kigali Airport by our guide who will lovingly welcome you and transfer you to a hotel/lodge in Kigali. If your flight arrives in the morning, you can get to know Kigali; visit some of the landmarks in town with the help of our driver/guide, including the genocide memorial site, the markets, Franco-Rwanda Cultural Center. Arrive at INZU Lodge or any accommodation of your choice. The lodge offers free Wi-Fi, outdoor pool, verandah with lake view and seating, the perfect place to relax after a busy day.

After breakfast, embark on the journey southwest towards Lake Kivu, one of the African Great Lakes. The lake lies on the border between the Democratic Republic of the Cong and Rwanda in the Albertine Rift. Check in to your lodge and then participate in activities such as a coffee tour around Lake Kivu or an orphanage visit in Gisenyi. Return for lunch and enjoy an evening hike around Lake Kivu.

After breakfast start on the journey that will see you cross the border over to Uganda into Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for the Batwa trail. You will use the Cyanika border driving through the Kigezi Highlands, known as the ‘Switzerland of Africa’, with lunch en route. Catching your eye again are the beautiful terraced hillsides with the winding roads and the distant view of the volcanoes and lakes. Arrive at Brode Bill Forest Camp where you’ll be spending two nights.

After an early morning breakfast, your driver/guide takes you to the park headquarters. This is the starting point of the gorilla tracking where you will be briefed by the Park Rangers about tracking these apes in the forest. The rain forest is dense with numerous animal trails. The excitement of spending time by observing these apes is a memorable experience and one of the most important activities of your Uganda wildlife safari. Gorillas are shy and peaceful animals and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they interact with one another.
After lunch, set out to the forest to trail the footsteps of the Batwa who were the first people to live in the forest. These people lived, hunted and gathered in the forest which provided them everything. Learn as they guide you through the forest, their dance, hear them sing and storytelling of their traditional way of farming. Learn how they handle the bow, how they gather honey and picking herbal medicine from roots and leaves a traditional way of treating themselves. Go for anature walk which unveils you to the locals living close to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest plus their culture. Learn how they make their art crafts, dances, traditional cooking, brewing and much more.

After an early breakfast, embark on the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, home to the tree-climbing lions. Go for a game drive in the Isasha sector to look for the tree-climbing lions. Other animals may also be spotted such as elephant, giraffe, Uganda kob, topi among others.

Relax at your lodge in the morning hours, take a walk around the lodge, talk to some locals or opt-in for a morning game drive. After lunch go for a boat trip along the Kazinga channel to sight aquatic life like the abundant hippos, crocodiles and the birdlife include collared pratincole, black bee-eater, broad-billed roller among others.

After an early morning breakfast, embark on the journey to Kampala with a short game drive as we move out of the park. On the way, be sure to look out for the serene vegetation, homesteads, some of which are designed in an African style of building, and more. Stop in Mbarara town for lunch after proceeding to the equator for photographs. From here you will have a stop at Mpambile village for a traditional souvenir if you wish.

After breakfast, start on the journey to Jinja, the adventure city. On the way be sure to see small towns like Mukono town designed in a traditionl African style, Namanve industrial area the first of its kind, roadside markets like Namawojjoro market where you can buy a snack to taste African food. You will go through the Mabira forest for a cool breeze as you continue to the adventure city.
Go for a canoe along the Nile River to explore its beauty, look for bird species such as the sunbird as well as watching the local fishermen fish in this beautiful water while a boat ride will take you to the source of the Nile. Return for lunch. In the late afternoon go for Big Game Mini Golf which takes you through the African safari themed crazy golf course with life-sized statues of the Big Five. Return to your Kampala accommodation.

Depending on your flight time you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight back home. Stop for a simple tour to the Buganda road cultural village as you proceed to the airport.
