This safari is a perfect extension to a Swahili Coast beach holiday. After your initial stay on the beach visit the iconic parks of Tsavo West, Tsavo East and Ambosli. There are plenty of game viewing opportunities in the national parks and you should also get a glimpse of Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. You return to Mombasa after the safari.

Day by Day Overview
You will be picked from your hotel at 05:30 and drive along Mombasa Nairobi highway. After two hours stop for a short break and enjoy a cup of coffee. Proceed for another hour before a stop over at ‘Man Eaters of Tsavo’ (Tsavo River) where you will learn more about the man eaters of Tsavo – in 1889 many railway workers were attacked by two huge male lions. They met their demise when Colonel J Peterson shot both of them. The film “Ghost and Darkness” is based on this time.
Arrive at Tsavo West National Park gate and start game viewing en route to the camp where you check in and have lunch. Relax until 15:30 and and then enjoy an evening game drive. Visit Mzima Springs and see hippos and crocodile, fish and flora. At Poachers Look Out have a romantic sundowner.
Dinner/overnight – Severin Safari Camp
Wake up at 06:00 for a full breakfast. Leave the camp and start a game drive, visiting several places like Chaimu and a lava flow. Afterwards depart to Amboseli, stopping over on the way at Shetani lava flow, which erupted about 300 years ago. Proceed to Amboseli National Park and enjoy a game drive en route to the lodge where you check-in and have lunch. Relax until 16:00 then head out on a late afternoon game drive until 18:30.
Dinner/overnight – Oltukai Lodge
Wake up at 06:00 in the morning, have a full breakfast then leave the lodge and start your game drive. Exit Amboseli National Park and set off for Tsavo East National Park. After arriving at the gate begin a game drive en route to the lodge where you will arrive in time for lunch. You have the afternoon to relax until 16:00 and then begin an evening game drive which finishes with sundowners at a look out point.
Dinner/overnight – Voi Safari lodge
Wake up early in the morning for a cup of tea/coffee and set off on an early morning game for two hours. After the game drive you had back to camp to have a full breakfast. Once you are all packed up you will drive through the park on a final game drive and then exit and depart to Voi town for lunch. After lunch you are transferd back to your beach accommodation to continue your holiday.
