Day by Day Overview
Collect your chosen vehicle and you will have time to stock up on provisions.
Days will be spent exploring the Moremi Game Reserve – road conditions depend on the time of year of travel so discuss with your consultant at the time of booking.
The drive up to Savuti from Moremi will be a long day but worth it. Explore the surrounding areas on the lookout for the incredible wildlife that calls this beautiful area home.
Famous for its large elephant population, Chobe also has plenty more to offer. Take a trip in to Kasane and hop on a boat to see the wildlife from a unique perspective.
Travelling through the Caprivi Strip you will arrive in Divundu. Head across to visit Popa Falls.
This is a great stopover on the way to Etosha – visit the San Village if you have time.
Two nights in two different locations allows you to visit some of the habitats found in this huge national park, home to a plethora of birdlife and wildlife including, if you’re incredibly lucky, the black rhinoceros.
Four hours from Etosha is the UNESCO world heritage site where one of the largest concentrations of rock art in Africa is situated (around 2,000).
A German town with some wonderful examples of German colonial architecture.Hit the beach, but beware – the Atlantic Ocean is rather chilly at times! There are also more action packed options in the Namib desert such as quad biking and sand boarding.
Head south from Swakopmund past Walvis Bay and arrive in Sossusvlei 5½ hours later. Here you can see the iconic and much photographed red sand dunes along with Dead Vlei and Sesriem Canyon.
Head to the capital city for a night. Visit the craft centre and enjoy dinner at one of the most popular places, Joe’s Beerhouse.
Entering back in to Botswana, overnight in Ghanzi, a cattle town situated in the Kalahari Desert. Its most famous inhabitants are the San who you can accompany on a guided walk.
As the drive from Ghanzi to Maun is around 8 hours, we recommend a night in Maun when you arrive back, before you fly home.
