Big Game Safari Camp Udawalawe is the only accommodation provider on the eastern border of Udawalawe National Park, making your safari camping experience all the more exclusive. Known for its resident elephant population, Udawalawe is one of the oldest national parks in Sri Lanka. The camp is located on its border (30 minute drive to the park entrance), next to a man-made reservoir, which is visited by many species of birds, butterflies and other animals, adding to the beauty of the area. There is enough space at the campsite for children and big families to have a great time. Early mornings and late evenings are the best times for wildlife viewing and photography or filming.
