This 3-day big five safari takes you to Tanzania’s two most famous reserves, the Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater. Explore these magnificent wildlife sanctuaries in search of the largest variety of animal and bird life on the continent. Traverse the stunning landscapes made up of grassland plains, volcanic rock formations and lush woodlands, providing idyllic settings for an exciting safari. Stay in tented lodges, visit a Maasai village and float above the Serengeti on a balloon safari. Day by Day Overview

In the morning you will make your way from Mwanza to the Serengeti National Park. You will enter the park through the Ndabaka gate and proceed with a game drive through the Seronera region. After some spectacular wildlife sightings, you will head to your lodge where you can relax for the remainder of the evening before a delicious dinner.

Head back into the park after some breakfast and enjoy an en-route morning game drive as you make your way to the renowned Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the way before arriving. Descend into the crater for some amazing game viewing set in one of the most pristine African wildernesses you will ever see and witness a magical sunset. In the evening you will make your way to your lodge for some dinner and to unwind after an exciting day.

After a leisurely breakfast, you will make your way back to Mwanza. It can be arranged that you be dropped off in Arusha instead.
