Day by Day Overview

You will be met by one of our representatives at the airport and taken to your hotel. Enjoy views of Mount Meru from the hotel while receiving a short briefing for the start of your safari. Relax for the remainder of the afternoon.

Overnight at Zawadi House Lodge: bed & Breakfast

Elephant Serengeti

After breakfast you will depart for Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and huge flocks of flamingos. Enjoy a picnic lunch amongst the iconic acacia trees before continuing your game drive. Later you will make your way to Karatu, a small town surrounded by coffee plantations. Arrive at your lodge for the evening and enjoy a delicious dinner.

Overnight at Karatu Simba Lodge: breakfast, lunch & dinner

After breakfast you will drive to the famous Serengeti National Park. Enjoy an en-route picnic lunch before arriving at the reserve and beginning your journey across the vast grassland plains in search of the thousands of animals that inhabit the park. The Serengeti was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and sees the huge herds of migrating wildebeest and zebra cross the plains into Kenya. In the evening you will head to your lodge where you can enjoy an evening under the stars.

Overnight at Tanzania Bush Camp: breakfast, lunch & dinner

A full day of exploring the Serengeti awaits as you search for the huge herds and the stunning big cats of Africa. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park or head back to the lodge depending what you have seen and if you are happy to take a break. Today you have an optional balloon safari that can be booked, allowing you to fly over the vast reserve for some aerial game viewing and some of the most beautiful views you will ever see.

Overnight at Tanzania Bush Camp: breakfast, lunch & dinner

After breakfast you will make your way to the Ngorongoro Crater, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater is home to an incredibly diverse world of wildlife, set in a magnificent lush wilderness encircled by the towering volcanic rim walls. The reserve is a truly magical place where you can see some of the last remaining black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch among the trees before continuing your game viewing. In the late afternoon you will drive to your lodge in Karatu for the evening.

Overnight at Tloma Lodge Ngorongoro: breakfast, lunch & dinner

In the morning you will head to Tarangire National Park, one of the most beautiful wildlife parks in Tanzania. The reserve offers amazing sightings of the large elephant herds that roam the landscapes dotted with 300 year old baobab trees. Enjoy some lunch at Tarangire Safari Lodge before continuing your search for game in the park. Later you will make your way to your lodge for the evening.

Overnight at Lake Burunge Tented Lodge: breakfast, lunch & dinner

In the morning you will make your way out of the park and head back to Arusha after an amazing safari. Your guide will drop you at the airport or your hotel, depending on your travel arrangements after the safari.
