Meal plan – bed & breakfast
After breakfast head to Kibale National Park, home of the chimpanzee and the primate capital, arriving in time for lunch in Fort Portal town. Later transfer to your lodge with an afternoon Bigodi community tour and then back to the lodge for dinner.
Overnight at Chimpundu Lodge
After an early breakfast your guide will drop you at the briefing point at 8 am for briefing about Kibale Forest and the chimpanzee tracking activity. Then in the afternoon head back to your lodge and later transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park with an evening game drive in the northern sector of the park.
Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge
After an early breakfast head to the bush for a morning drive in the Kasenyi plains with a good chance of seeing many different animals. In the afternoon we head to the Mweya sector for the boat cruise along the Kazinga channel and then back to the lodge for dinner.
Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge
You will wake up at leisure on this day and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to the Buhoma sector in the south of the park, arriving after a stopover to see the tree climbing lions in the southern part of the park in Ishasha. Later proceed to Bwindi arriving in the evening.
Overnight at Buhoma Lodge
After breakfast, you will set off with packed lunch to the park headquarters. You will meet rangers who will brief you about gorilla tracking. You will then follow the gorilla trails with your ranger and start gorilla tracking. Once you have reached the gorillas, you will be able to take pictures and videos to fill your memories. Later in the afternoon visit the Batwa community and then back to the lodge for dinner.
Overnight at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge
After an early breakfast check out for a transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Lake Bunyonyi is framed by lush, green-terraced hills that reach a height of 2,200 – 2,478 m, but it’s the 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across the water that make it most magical — you could admire them all day.
Overnight at Overland Resort
You will have a relaxed breakfast then you may opt to enjoy a swim in the lake before you set off on the journey to Entebbe via Mbarara and settle at Igongo Cultural Center for lunch (traditional dishes). You will have an option to visit the cultural museum here before embarking on a drive to Kampala. You can stop en route at the Equator for more photos and passing through the gift shops. Later our guide will take you to the airport for your next flight back home.
