From USD 3,300 per person
Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. After a brief welcome, you will depart for Amboseli National Park. You will arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. Enjoy some time to cool off before heading out to your first game drive in Amboseli National Park later in the evening. Come back to your lodge as the sun sets.
Enjoy a full day in the park filled with thrilling game drives in the early morning and in the afternoon in Amboseli National Park. Keep an eye out for the magnificent views from the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, also known as “the Roof of Africa.” The best time to catch the beautiful view of the tallest free-standing mountain in the world is during early morning or just around sunset. Game drives with all meals and overnight at the camp on a full board basis.
Depart after early breakfast, drive to Arusha via Namanga border heading to Lake Manyara National Park with lunch en route. Lake Manyara’s main attractions are its rich bird life, tree-climbing lions, and hippos, which you can see at a closer range than many other places. Lake Manyara also hosts thousands of flamingos at certain times of the year and has diverse vegetation ranging from savannah to marshes and acacia woodland, enabling a variety of wildlife habitats including butterflies. It’s a shallow, alkaline lake that is part of the Rift Valley wall.
Breakfast then check out of the camp and drive to Serengeti National Par. Evening game viewing in Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Thorn Tree Camp.
Full day spent exploring the park, Serengeti is Africa’s most famous and Tanzania’s largest park and is adjoining with the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. With wildebeest and many antelope species (which include zebra, Thomson’s gazelle, impala, topi, Grant’s gazelle, kongoni, eland, Kirk’s dik-dik, klipspringer, roan, oryx, oribi, waterbuck, buffalo, giraffe, and warthog), the Serengeti is sure to attract prey such as lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, golden jackals and bat-eared foxes. Elephants are relatively scarce and the few remaining black rhinoceros are restricted to the Moru Koppies area. Serengeti also offers rewarding bird viewing with ostrich and kori bustard being common, a variety of larks, finches, and raptors can be seen but the most distinctive small bird is the lilac-breasted roller.
After an early breakfast, we drive south to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA), home to the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, where we descend into the crater for a full day tour with packed lunches. The Ngorongoro Crater is the ‘8th Natural Wonder of the World,’ and a visit to the crater is one of the main draw cards for visitors coming to Tanzania, a definite world-class attraction. It was formed some 2.5 million years ago from a volcanic mountain sinking due to inactivity, and was initially thought to be higher than Tanzania’s famous Kilimanjaro. The crater, which is actually caldera, has evolved into a unique and integral part of Tanzania’s eco-system. Views from within and from the rim are breathtaking .The crater houses 30,000 animals and a large variety of birds, which rarely move from the area due to the availability of water through wet and dry seasons. Ascend the crater rim for dinner and overnight stay at Hhando Coffee Lodge.
Breakfast at leisure then drive to Arusha to arrive by 1200 hrs, transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport to catch your flight back home or we organize for a private transfer to Nairobi to arrive by 1800 hrs. Drop off at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to board your home bound flight or a city hotel where our Kenya & Tanzania safari ends.
