You will be collected and driven from Kilimanjaro airport to your hotel in Moshi. At the hotel, you will meet your safari guide for a briefing and gear checking advice.
Dinner and overnight at Weru Weru River Lodge
Early today we will start driving from our hotel in Moshi to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a game drive until the afternoon when we break for a picnic lunch. After lunch, we continue with the game drive until evening when we drive to our lodge in Karatu. Tarangire National Park with its rolling savannah, acacia woodland and splendid baobabs, is referred to as the ‘playground of elephant’, but is also the home of buffalo, lion, wildebeests, zebra and gazelle in the dry season. The shores of Lake Barungi attract a lot of mammals and various bird species such as kingfisher, hoopoes and white bellied bird.
Dinner and overnight at Marera View Valley
After breakfast we drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a full day’s game drive break with a picnic lunch. Ascend from the crater late in the evening and drive to your lodge in central Serengeti.
This is the world’s largest caldera fully of grassland, forest and swamp, a setting of jaw-dropping beauty. The permanent water of the crater floor supports a resident population of more than 25,000 large mammals. Here you will find many of the reasons you chose to do a safari in Tanzania – lion, waterbuck, hippo, baboon, black rhino, leopard, hyena, jackal, buffalo, warthog, gazelle, and many more. The Maasai people share this awesome space with animals and their cattle in an area that has been a separate conservation area since 1956 as well as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1978. This harmonious co-habitation of man and beast makes Ngorongoro unique in the world.
Dinner and overnight at Embalakai Tented Lodge
Today we have a full day in the most beautiful park in the world , the Serengeti National Park. After breakfast we will start our game drive and in the afternoon we will stop for a picnic lunch. Continue with the game drive before back to our tented lodge for dinner and overnight. The Serengeti National Park is full of special sights, sounds and smells of Africa with stunning scenery, ever-changing light and entertaining wildlife. In this park, the wildlife doesn’t work to any schedule so we may find lion, leopard, elephant, zebra, cheetah, antelope, gazelle, hippo, and many species of birds and reptiles during our game drive.
Dinner and overnight at Embalakai Tented Lodge
Today you will wake up very early for the picturesque sunrise and game drive. Head back to the lodge for brunch after which you will pack your stuff and continue with a game drive en route to exiting this magical park. Drive back to Karatu for dinner and overnight.
Dinner and overnight at Marera View Valley
Early in the morning today around 6:00am we will start driving to Lake Eyasi to visit Hadzabe and Datoga tribe and join them in their daily activities. You will break for a picnic lunch and late afternoon drive back to Moshi for dinner and overnight.

Hadzabe Tribe
Take a journey into the “Gods must be Crazy” movie. The Hadzabe tribe of Tanzania are the last true nomads of Africa. One of the earliest human inhabitants of the Ngorongoro area, they are believed to have lived in the area over 10,000 years. Currently the Hadzabe tribe live near Lake Eyasi, they speak click language and they are not warrior tribes. You will join the men as they hunt for their daily subsidence using traditional bow and arrows, or join the women as they forage for fruits and berries. This is not a show or a “tourist put on” – this is the real true African cultural experience.
Datoga Tribe
Visiting the Datoga tribe will complete your cultural experience at Lake Eyasi. The Datoga are skilled farmers and craftsmen. You will visit their habitat, and experience their culture first hand. Be prepared for the experience of a lifetime.
Today we will pick you from your hotel and drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport as per your onward flight details.
