You will be met and warmly welcomed by one of our experienced guides at Kilimanjaro Airport before being taken to your hotel in Arusha. The city is situated below Mount Meru, on the eastern edge of the Great Rift Valley and is excellently situated to allow easy access to numerous reserves and points of interest.
Overnight at Kibo Palace Hotel: bed & breakfast
After an early breakfast, your guide will pick you up from the hotel before you make your way to Lake Manyara National Park for your first game viewing experience of the trip. The park is situated between the Great Rift Valley and Lake Manyara and is a protected area that is home to over 350 bird species. You can expect to see thousands of flamingos, painting the landscape pink and providing a beautiful and unique scene. Later you will leave the park and make your way to your lodge in Karatu.
Overnight at Kudu Lodge: breakfast, lunch & dinner
You will depart Karatu early after some breakfast and make your way to the famous Serengeti National Park, arriving in time for a spectacular afternoon game drive that sees you searching for animals in the grassland plains. There is a vast amount of animals in the park and all are wonderful to see, providing amazing sightings. Later you will proceed to your camp for the evening.
Overnight at Tanzania Bush Central Camp: breakfast, lunch & dinner
After some breakfast, you will make your way into the park for a full day of exploring. Enjoy a morning game drive as you discover the waking savannah, delivering superb game sightings in the cooler temperatures that allow the animals to be more active then in the afternoon. The Serengeti National Park is best known for being the home of the greatest land migration on earth that sees over 1.5 million wildebeest, zebra and other grazers cross the plains into Kenya. Later you will enjoy some lunch before continuing your search for the animals and the great herds on an afternoon drive. After a memorable day of spectacular wildlife encounters, you will head back to camp for the evening.
Overnight at Tanzania Bush Central Camp: breakfast, lunch & dinner
After an early breakfast, you will head out for your final morning game drive in the Serengeti. After you have searched for any of the animals you were trying to see, you will leave the park, headed for the Ngorongoro region. Arrive in the late afternoon at your camp for the evening.
Overnight at Ang’ata Ngorongoro Tented Camp: breakfast, lunch & dinner
In the morning you will make your way to the Ngorongoro Crater after some breakfast. Descend into the largest unbroken caldera on earth and discover the amazingly diverse world that lies within. You may see the entire big five while on your game drive in this unique wildlife haven. Later in the day you will begin your journey to Tarangire National Park where you will stay for the evening.
Overnight at Ang’ata Ngorongoro Tented Camp: breakfast, lunch & dinner
In the morning, after a tasty breakfast, you will make your way into the park for your final game drive of the trip. Explore the beautiful Tarangire National Park, known for its large number of elephant and significant populations of impala, giraffe, eland and buffalo. A wide variety of animals can be seen in the park, including lion and leopard. After some excellent game viewing, you will begin your journey back to Arusha. You will be dropped off at the airport, marking the end of your trip in Tanzania.
