Day by Day Overview
You will be met at the airport by one of our representatives and taken to your hotel. After a long flight you are able to stretch your legs and explore the city, the undisputed safari capital of east Africa. Enjoy views of Mount Meru and even distant views of Kilimanjaro, on a clear day. Relax for the remainder of the evening at the hotel as you await the start of your adventure.
Overnight at African Tulip Hotel: dinner
After breakfast you will make your way to Ndutu, a beautiful region in the south-eastern corner of the Serengeti National Park. This beautiful park, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is home to some of the greatest wildlife on earth and is famous for the migrating herds of wildebeest. Once you are in the park, you will drive to Ndutu as you enjoy an en-route game drive. Make your way across the vast open plains and get an idea of the sheer size of the massive reserve. Traverse the ever changing landscapes, spotting different animals in the grasslands and woodlands. Later you will make your way to your lodge for the evening.
Overnight at Ndutu Bush Camp: breakfast, lunch & dinner
After having had a taste of what Ndutu is about yesterday, you will make your way out for a full day game drive. Every day is different and the sightings depend on what you are able to find however your guides efforts will be focused on finding the great migration for an amazing experience, allowing you to be surrounded by over two million animals. Keep your eyes open for the big cats that will be pursuing the herds of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle. Head back to your lodge in the evening for a cool sundowner, some relaxing and a delicious dinner.
Overnight at Ndutu Bush Camp: breakfast, lunch & dinner
Enjoy a morning drive in Ndutu before making your way to the central Serengeti. Drive through the park, passing numerous animals and bird life as you ask your guide any questions you can think of and learn about the fascinating world that surrounds you. Enjoy another amazing day of sightings before heading to your lodge for the evening, surrounded by the evening sounds and smells of the African bush as you thank your lucky stars for the amazing adventure that you are on.
Overnight at Serengeti Tortilis Camp: breakfast, lunch & dinner
Waking up in the Serengeti is truly something special. Enjoy the morning calls of the birds as you feel the cool breeze against your skin and take in the smells of the bush around you. Today you have the option of going on an optional balloon safari that allows you to float over this iconic reserve. Alternatively you will have breakfast at the lodge and head out for your morning drive, searching for the animals you are yet to see. Later you will have a picnic lunch under a shady tree before continuing your search for wildlife. Head back to your lodge after sunset and enjoy your final evening in the park.

Enjoy your final morning in the Serengeti on an early drive, taking in all that you can before you leave this iconic park. Enjoy the changing light and the excellent photographic opportunities it provides as you watch the sun climb in the morning sky after an amazing sunrise. After some game viewing you will be able to enjoy a picnic lunch before making your way to the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera and another of Tanzania’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Arrive at your lodge and enjoy a delicious meal.
Overnight at Ngorongoro Tortilis Camp: breakfast, lunch & dinner
After breakfast you will descend down the steep rim walls into the crater to discover the magnificent world that lies within. The reserve is home to the big five as well as an impressive array of animal and bird life and a number of different habitats making it one of the most diverse regions in Africa. The permanent water supply helps support over 25,000 large mammals, all of the species you could see, including the rare black rhino. Explore this park and witness the amazing sight of the Maasai people herding their cattle as they graze alongside the wild animals. Later you will have a picnic lunch before leaving the crater to make your way back to Arusha after an amazing safari.
