After breakfast, you’ll head to Tarangire National Park for some exciting wildlife spotting. Tarangire is a small park offering excellent game viewing and beautiful landscapes. Generally, in the dry seasons, Tarangire comes alive as wildlife and bird life congregate on the Tarangire River, an important source of water for the park’s inhabitants. In the evening, return to camp for dinner and a chance to enjoy some down time.
Overnight at Roika Tented Camp or similar: full board
Today, head towards the Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch. En route, visit Olduvai Gorge, and a small museum which houses fascinating evidence of our ancestors dating back 2.5 million years. After lunch, continue into the Serengeti, and spend the rest of the afternoon viewing a wide variety of game. In December, January and February, the great migration can be witnessed, with enormous herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle flooding the area. Aside from the incredible migration, you can also spot giraffe, buffalo, elephant and predators like lion, cheetah, and leopard in these parts. Return to the camp in the evening for a delicious meal and leisure time.
Overnight at Kati Kati Tented Camp: full board
Start your day with an early morning drive to catch the sunrise and watch the wildlife wake up. Spend time at the hippo pool watching these majestic animals laze about in the water, living happily alongside crocodiles. Observe a big pride of lions go about their daily habits and be in the middle of the great migration, sometimes surrounded by wildebeest, sometimes by zebra, which travel with the wildebeest. From here journey on to the kopjes: volcanic rocky outcrops that provide protection and shelter for a wide variety of animals. From the kopjes, enjoy an amazing view across the vast grasslands. Head back to the camp in the evening for dinner and leisure time.
Overnight at Kati Kati Tented Camp: full board
Once again, begin your day with a morning game drive, this time heading to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. During the drive, you will have a chance to catch a glimpse of the Maasai way of life. On arrival at the Ngorongoro crater entrance gate, you will learn some interesting facts about the volcanic landscape, before descending into the crater itself. The crater walls provide a natural sanctuary for its inhabitants, and you can expect to see lions, elephants, buffalo, rhino, and leopard (if you are lucky). The only animal you won’t see here is giraffe – their long legs are unable to cope with the steep sides of the crater! In the late afternoon, travel back to camp for dinner and a chance to relax after an exciting day.
Overnight at Ngorongoro Wild Tented Camp: full board
Today you’ll have the opportunity to learn about the culture and traditions of the local Maasai people. Your guide will show you a Maasai Boma, and tell you all about the Maasai lifestyle. After this fascinating visit, you’ll be transported back to Arusha.

Kilipeak Adventure was outstanding - First Class!
We have been on a few safaris in several African countries, and this experience with Kilipeak Adventure was one of the most enjoyable, versatile, educational, and relaxing. Besides, it was such a privilege to explore the Serengeti Park during the lockdown with no other tourists due to the pandemic. Abel organized everything so well, and our driver Gilliard was great, showing us the most incredible groups of animals and explaining many interesting facts about them. The chef Juma was treating us with the delicious variety of meals at the wonderful special tented camp in Serengeti (Tanzania Bush Camp). The camp personnel was most friendly and helpful. Many thanks!! We will be back before long and will recommend the company' Kilipeak Adventure' highly to all our friends, relatives, and colleagues. "Tanzania is an amazing country to visit" Asante Sana
